Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

I provide cognitive behavioral psychotherapy for individuals ages 18 and above who struggle with anxiety or obsessive-compulsive symptoms.

About

I provide psychotherapy for individuals struggling with fear, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive symptoms. All of my treatments begin with a thorough assessment of your current difficulties and move to collaborative goal-setting. From there, we design a tailored treatment that meets your needs—never a one-size-fits-all approach.

As a specialist in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), I draw on a range of complementary modalities when designing the intervention, such as: exposure and response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), habit-reversal therapy (HRT), and schema therapy.

A creatively-constructed treatment plan should lead to symptom relief and greater resilience, and help you reconnect with what matters most in your life.

Structure

For some, therapy may focus on symptom reduction and be relatively brief—12 to 16 sessions. For others, our work may evolve to address deeper concerns, such as problematic relationships, self-understanding, or persistent emotional pain. In these cases, we will explore the life experiences that contributed to your psychological challenges and interrupt long-standing patterns with insight-building and skill acquisition. These expanded treatments typically span from 6 to 24 months, depending on individual needs and goals.

Fees

I am an "out-of-network" provider, which means I am not on any insurance panels. Payment is due at the time of each session and I will provide you with a detailed receipt. You can submit this receipt to your insurance company, and depending on your plan, you may be eligible for reimbursement (partial or full).

If you're planning to use your out-of-network benefits, I recommend calling your insurance provider ahead of time to ask:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?
  • What is my reimbursement rate for outpatient therapy?
  • Is there a deductible I need to meet first?

If they ask for billing codes (also called CPT codes), you can let them know that I typically use:

  • 90791: Initial evaluation (without medical services)
  • 90834: Individual therapy session lasting 45–50 minutes

My fees are in line with other psychological specialists in the Boston area. Please contact me to discuss rates or ask questions about my fee structure.

Consultation & Supervision

I offer one-time or ongoing consultation and supervision services for mental health professionals, media representatives, or businesses who are interested in my areas of expertise.

About

My hourly fee for consultation or supervision matches my rate for therapy services. My rate is consistent with other psychological specialists in the Boston area. I can provide clinicians a receipt for consultation or supervision services if needed.
